News Archive for February 2008Ideal Investment During the last 5 years Turkey has seen a huge increase in the number of visitors from the UK, Ireland, Holland and Germany. This has led to increased property investment, roughly about 21k properties have been sold to overseas buyers in the last 2 years.
This has seen property price in certain part of Turkey increase by as much as 100%, the experts believe increases like this will continue.
Turkeys existing airports have been updated and new terminal added to cope with the increasing number of visitors. Infrastructure and roads have also improved making more places easily accessible. And with the recent introduction of Turkish mortgages buying a place in Turkey has never been a more attractive place to invest in.
Low Cost Air Fares Now that low cost air lines are looking at Turkey not only will it be an easier place to get to it will also make it a more desirable place to invest in.
Easyjet are due to fly from Gatwick to Dalaman from March this year and BA plan Gatwick to Antalya on 10th April. Hopefully more routes will become available during 2008 making Turkey not only a great place to visit for a holiday but also as a second home or investment.
