News Archive for August 2008Shopping Centre Construction for a $200 million shopping centre in Izmir will start in August later this year. Rönesans Malls have already invested $500 million in Izmir and are hoping to have invested $1 billion and built 25 more centres by 2012. This new development is expected to be completed by October 2009.
The new mall will be the largest in Turkey and include a DIY centre, Hypermarket, Ice Rink and Movie Complex along with 57k metres of retail space.
The mall will be built using the latest technology from Los Angeles as they have similar weather to Izmir.
